OKLAHOMA CITY (Jan. 6, 2014) – The Oklahoma Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust (TSET) is announcing the release of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a new TSET Healthy Living community grant program. The grant program encourages Oklahomans to eat better, move more, and be tobacco-free, where we live, work, learn, and play.

OKLAHOMA CITY (Sept. 13, 2013) – The TSET Board of Directors has approved an increase in the incentive grant amounts for school districts and communities that apply for funding through TSET’s Healthy Incentive Grant programs. 

OKLAHOMA CITY (August 20, 2013) – More than 250,000 Oklahomans have accessed the Oklahoma Tobacco Helpline by phone or online for coaching and assistance in quitting tobacco since the free service began in 2003. This week marks the tenth anniversary of the Helpline’s launch. Smoking-related illnesses are the leading causes of preventable death in Oklahoma. 

OKLAHOMA CITY (June 3, 2013) -- The TSET Board of Directors on Monday voted to commit up to $1 million for disaster relief to address intermediate and long-term health needs in Oklahoma after a string of deadly tornadoes hit the state in May. 

OKLAHOMA CITY (May 16, 2013) - The TSET Board of Directors approved $191,000in grants to 21 communities that promote healthy lifestyles across the state at their board meeting this month.

The communities that received the grants were Alva, Bartlesville, Blair, Blanchard,Bristow, Chandler, Collinsville, Elk City, Guthrie, Guymon, Lindsay, McAlester, Moore,Muskogee, Norman, Perkins, Prague, Sand Springs, Seminole, Tahlequah and Weatherford.
