Moffett, OK  (November 16, 2016) – The Moffett Public School district on Wednesday was honored for its efforts to improve health through the TSET Healthy School District Incentive Grant.

To receive the $1,500 incentive grant, Moffett Public School put a variety of policies and strategies in place to promote health and wellness for students and staff.  The district will use grant funds to purchase physical activity equipment, nutrition and activity posters, and health assessment equipment.

Bunch, OK (November 16, 2016) – Greasy Public School district was honored on Wednesday for its efforts to improve health through the TSET Healthy School District Incentive Grant program.

Sallisaw, OK  (November 16, 2016) – The Brushy Public School district was honored Wednesday for its efforts to improve health through the TSET Healthy School District Incentive Grant program.

To receive the $1,500 incentive grant, Brushy Public School put a variety of policies and strategies in place to promote health and wellness for students and staff.  The district will use grant funds to purchase physical education and exercise equipment.

OKLAHOMA CITY (Nov. 15, 2016) – Tobacco users are encouraged to participate in the Great American Smokeout (GASO) challenge on Nov. 17, and experience the benefits of a tobacco-free lifestyle, if only for a day. GASO is an annual event that supports a day-long cessation effort, which can be the first step toward a healthier life.

OKLAHOMA CITY (November 14, 2016) – The Oklahoma Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust (TSET) is announcing the release of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for TSET Healthy Living program serving Adair County.

The grant program encourages Oklahomans to eat better, move more, and be tobacco-free, where we live, work, learn, and play.
